Empowering Rural Entrepreneurs with DeliMush

In the heart of Ghana’s Northern Region, DeliMush is transforming rural entrepreneurship by turning locally grown mushrooms into high-value food products while creating jobs for women and youth.

From Farm to Table: The DeliMush Story

Founded to reshape the mushroom value chain, DeliMush has pioneered the production of plant-based products like mushrooms in tomato, pepper, and onion sauce, targeting health-conscious consumers.

Voices from the Ground

“At DeliMush, we’re not just processing mushrooms, we’re preserving livelihoods, promoting wellness, and proving that sustainable, plant-based innovation can start right at the farm gate.” — Aisha Abdallah, Co-founder of DeliMush.

Building a Network of Entrepreneurs

With support from Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) and the Mastercard Foundation’s Initiative for Youth in Agricultural Transformation (IYAT), DeliMush is providing technical training to rural women, helping them launch mini mushroom farms and become part of a growing supply network.
